Allocation of Funds

Your United Way contribution goes to work creating lasting changes right in Whiteside County, Illinois. Local volunteers invest your contributions in the areas of your community that need the most help. 

Some of the funds support programs and services that help people with basic needs, such as childcare, emergency shelter and food. Volunteers direct your contributions to the programs that get the best results.

United Way also works to keep people from needing those services in the first place. Working with a broad range of community partners, United Way supports new approaches that focus on prevention and community changes.
